
Training on the correct storage and stacking of goods, according to regulations, is critical for the safety of all on site.
Strat Training’s Stacking & Storage training course is designed to help those pursuing a career in this field, or who are interested in learning skills for a healthy and safe working environment. Strat Training offers three different types of courses for those who work daily with scaffolding: Scaffolding Erector, Scaffolding Inspector, and Stacking & Storage Regulations. We will discuss Stacking & Storage in this newsletter, and the other two were discussed in previous issues of the newsletter.
Prior to undertaking this course, it is necessary to first complete Strat Training’s Working at Heights Training Course.
Storage of goods often involve some form or another of stacking. If done correctly, this is a very economical way of utilising the available space. Doing it the wrong way, on the other hand, often results in injury.
Whatever the nature of your business, the likelihood that there will be a system of storage involved creates the need for training in this particular skill. This course is designed to facilitate the learning of various skills needed to use safe and effective methods of storage and is aimed at both employee and employer.
In this TETA-accredited course, we will cover several topics, carefully spread out over four modules, that will highlight various aspects involved with stacking and storage in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety legislation.
