This course teaches the correct and safe operation of a Skid Steer Loader. Over a span of seven modules we will cover topics like the parts and functions of a Skid Steer Loader, safety guide, daily checks, checklists and logbooks, the principals of operation and mechanical appreciation as well as signals, signs and operating procedures.
We will make use of reading material, activities and learning aids to help develop an understanding of how to operate a Skid Steer Loader.

This course teaches the correct and safe operation of a Dumper Truck. Upon completion of the modules, the learner understand the functions of starting and shutting down the machine as well as the machine’s operating functions.
Over a span of six modules we will cover safety, parts and functions, necessary daily checks, principals of operation and mechanical operation.
This course is designed for operators to obtain knowledge of the functions of an excavator. We will cover a number of modules aimed at focusing on aspects such as the physical requirements of operators, mechanical appreciation and operational procedures, to name but a few.

If you are in charge of working with bulldozers at work then this course is for you! Our training course to learn how to operate a bulldozer cover nine modules that teach the trainees how to use bulldozers and to recognize the different components of these machines.
The skid steer loader training course is a NQF level 2 class that offers a total of eight credits and seven modules. This is a TETA accredited training class and offers a certificate that is valid for two consecutive years.
Employees who choose to participate in this class will learn how to operate a skid steer loader, get to know the daily checklist that needs to be completed before using these machines, and understand the different signs and signals used during when working with this machine.
Start Training makes sure to also accommodate those employees who cannot read or write. The assessments in this course can be done verbally. Be sure to speak to our professional team of staff to find out more information about this class. We can accommodate a total of four people per class.
A dumper truck was created to transport sand, gravel, or waste to dumping sites. These heavy machines carry large volumes of waste from construction sites to be demolished.
We at Strat Training offer our clients the opportunity to participate in a class that teaches them how to work with loads and different safety procedures and waste operations for dumper trucks which follow the legislations of the Occupational Health and Safety Act of 1993. This class requires the participants to take part in both theory and practical learning.
Once the participant has completed their class, he/she will receive a certificate which will remain valid for two years. The course certificate is usually issued two or three days after the training has taken place.
All those employees who are responsible for working with excavators should consider participating in this CETA accredited excavator training course. This is an NQF level two class that has a total of fifteen credits.
This course takes a total of five consecutive days to complete. Once the participant has completed the course, they will receive a certificate which remains valid for two years. At Strat Training, we also offer a refresher and novice course! Should you be interested in participating in the refresher course, it is important to wait until your current operator license has not expired for more than ninety days.
The novice course takes five days to complete and offers seven credits too.
